Jafna de Paauw
Jafna hatte ihre ersten Ballettstunden im Alter von vier Jahren.
Mit 8 begann sie mit Gymnastik und fing schlie§lich auch mit Jazz und Modern Dance an.
Mit 13 brachte sie ihre Tanzausbildung auf ein neues Level: Sie begann, an der Dance Academy in Amsterdam zu trainieren. Nur ein Jahr später wurde sie gebeten, an der Dance Explosion, einem semi-professionellen Tanzunternehmen in Friesland, teilzuhaben. Sie blieb in diesem Unternehmen, bis es ihr möglich war, in die Dance Academy in Tilburg zu gehen.
2007 erweiterte sie ihr Repertoire weiter, indem sie auch mit Boden- und Luftakrobatik experimentierte. Bald wurde sie auf diesem Gebiete erfahren.
Heute ist sie fokussiert darauf, in herausfordernden und innovativen Shows - wie Stratosphere - zu arbeiten. Das ist Teil ihrer Arbeit als professionelle Akrobatin, Tänzerin und Luftakrobatin, sowohl in ihrem Heimatland, als auch überall auf der Welt.
Lance Spring
Lance's love affair with performing began while he was still at school. At 17, he went to Drama Academy in London.
Working in street theatre, he insists, taught him more about dance - and life - than the academy every did.
Through the years, he has created a number of solo and duo performance pieces and has been invited to perform at festivals and events in Australia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Korea and Singapore, among many other international destinations.
In recent years, he has focused on working with Jafna on the Stratosphere piece and on creating and performing in other equally compelling performance art programs.
He also enjoys co-operating with colleagues and performing arts organisations on projects of every type and size.
